Dog lovers locally have joined forces with Ascot’s leading dog photographer to raise some ‘much needed’ funds for Berkshire Search and Rescue.
Tails of Windsor & Ascot is a fundraising project from Windsor & Ascot based dog photographer Millers Image Limited (MIL), and part of an international collective of professional pet photographers, each celebrating the dogs of their region.
Chris & Sue Miller, owners of the specialist photography business have said that they want to capture the true personality of 55 dogs on location around Windsor & Ascot in stunning and emotive imagery.
The images will be collated in a limited-edition coffee table book, which will be made available to raise funds for their chosen charity, Berkshire Search & Rescue Dogs.
The book, Tails of Windsor and Ascot will be released in December 2022, giving dog owners time to register their dog to be in the book and create a difference for the charity through this stunning project.
In June 2021, Chris became the UK’s first certified Dog Photography Master from the world’s leading “Dogs in Action” photographer, Claudio Piccoli. This has ensured his entry in the prestigious ‘Tails of the World’ international collective of professional pet photographers, each celebrating the dogs of their region.
Caitlin J. McColl who founded the Tails of the World Collective said: “When Chris formally applied to join the Tails of the World Collective, I was so happy to officially welcome him on board. MIL Pet Photography and Chris’ work is absolutely gorgeous, and I have no doubt that Tails of Windsor & Ascot will be a beautiful addition to our series.”
Chris Miller added: “All previous editions of this Collective across the world has raised funds for a local charity and we wanted to do the same here in Berkshire. We are proud to partner with Berkshire Search and Rescue Dogs (BSARD) and our goal is to raise more awareness and at least £2,000 for this amazing charity.”
