The Met Office named Storm Franklin on Sunday, with strong winds and squalls already seen across Berkshire last night.
The weather warning for wind remains in place until 1pm today with wind speeds increasing as the morning progresses.
People are being warned to stay safe from trees falling down and tiles being blown from roofs.

The alert will be reviewed later today.
Here's when Storm Franklin will hit us hardest today
By 12pm, gusts of wind will be around 44mph predicts the Met Office.
At 2pm it will be 45mph.
Wind later in the day will be around 36mph.
We are also expected to see sunshine from 11am tomorrow.
