The Lexicon, Swinley forest, South Hill Park…

With monopoly crowned one of the nations most popular board game, and even more editions being released year on year, what Bracknell landmarks would you fancy landing on?

This question follows the big launch of the High Wycombe edition that game bosses have announced and are currently welcoming suggestions from locals.

From shops, road streets and landmarks, Bracknell contains a plentiful array of beautiful and unusual sites that would make the perfect edition to any monopoly board.

Here's some we've come up with.

Businesses

Built in 2017 as part of the regeneration project, the Lexicon would be the ultimate and one of the most expensive squares on Bracknell’s monopoly board. However, the question is would they split it up or leave it for the wealthiest players to buy and sell.

Perhaps you may be the first person to plant a hotel within the array of shops.

However Fenwick’s, Gail’s, Primark and Waterstones are only but a few that would make perfect individual choices of the board.

Parks

Of course, who can forget some of Berkshire’s most beautiful landscapes that reside in  Bracknell Forest.

Swinley Forest, which contains acres and acres of walking trails including the ‘Go Ape’ activity centre.

South Hill Park and Arts centre where the player could imagine themselves enjoying a piece of theatre or talking a tranquil walk in the beautiful grounds.

Restaurants and Pubs

Of course no monopoly board situated in the English countryside could forget about the traditional pubs and restaurants that have now become institutions in their own right.

From the Golden Retriever to the Golden Farmer, everyone of them has a iconic history.

Ascot Racecourse

Where else would you take yourself off to when you’re in this little corner of heaven but the royal grounds of Ascot. Definitely one to fight with your other players over who gets to own the famous showgrounds in Ascot.

And who’s forgetting the infamous Broadmoor Hospital. Perhaps instead of spending time in ‘jail’ monopoly makers could place the old insane asylum instead!

What key landmarks do you think would make the perfect places to PASS GO?
