The new Home Bargain’s opened on Saturday (February 26) in Bracknell and it was all hands on deck to welcome excited shoppers insdie the store.
The doors of the discount giant opened at 8am this morning with queues of people waiting in zero-degree weather to get the first look.
Hundreds of shoppers are expected to bombard the store and the question on everyone’s lips is what the discount retailer will offer Bracknell.
The News were given the privilege to be allowed a first look at the store before it was opened, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint expectations.
A local resident, Tamsin said: I think it’s really good so far. Compared to the one in Reading which is a lot smaller you’ve got a variety of a lot of other things that you haven’t got there, like the clothes and other bits and bobs.

“Just having it on my doorstep is amazing that I don’t have to go all that way. We needn’t something like this in here because we don’t have something as good.
A shopper from West Ruislip travelled all the way to Bracknell this morning to see what the new store had to offer. She said: “It's the biggest one I’ve seen so far. I’m bored of my home bargains so I thought I’d come to this one.”
Dani from Wokingham said: “It’s lovely, it’s much bigger than the one I normally go to. The test will be coming back when it’s not opening day and seeing what it’s like then.
Another local shopper, Tracy Cook commented: It’s a lovely new addition to Bracknell and will really go with the rest of the town. I love these sorts of shops and I’ve been looking forward to it since Christmas. It’s so nice having it on your doorstep.”

It was mentioned by one Bracknell shopper that there was a problem with the trollies however with the vass array of products up for grabs, she said that it was ‘keeping her on a limit, which is probably a good thing!’
