As usual, it’s been a busy week in planning in Bracknell Forest and Wokingham Borough, with details submitted for existing applications.

The biggest of these is the submission of details for 123 homes at the former TRL facility in Crowthorne.

Meanwhile, details have been submitted for the eight flats that will replace the Royal Hunt in Ascot.

Over in Wokingham Borough, the owners of the Grade II listed house Farley Court have applied for internal works, and a plan has been submitted to replace a three house terrace in Remenham with a new five bedroom home.

Details of what part of the massive redevelopment of the former TRL site in Crowthorne will look like has been submitted by Cala Homes.

The 1,000 home development is so huge that is has been broken down in phases, with developers submitting plans for Phase 3B here.

This plan includes details for 123 homes and a new neighbourhood centre for the development, which will contain a cafe and an outdoor seating area for future residents.

A total of 186 car parking spaces would be made for the new homes, and 15 parking spaces would be reserved for the neighbourhood centre.

The centre would be next to a new school serving people living there.

Details submitted for replacement of Ascot pub with eight apartments (21/00170/COND)

Details have been submitted for the eight apartment block that will replace the Royal Hunt pub in Ascot.

The plan includes the drainage strategy for the single new building, an energy need assessment and other important information.

Six trees will be retained on site, with the developer Patrick Ruddy Homes Ltd also providing information on how it seeks to enhance biodiversity and conduct site clearance during the bird nesting season.

A neighbour made an emotive plea for the pub to be retained at a planning meeting last July but ultimately councillors decided to approve the project to replace it.

New family home to replace three houses in Thameside village (Wokingham app 220465)

Here, the owners Mr and Mrs Lyndon have applied to knock down three connected houses -called Foxhaven, Whitewoods and Beech View- and replace them with a new five bedroom home.

The existing site includes a tennis court, an open-air swimming pool, and various outbuildings.

The three houses would be replaced with a large home with a pond and an extensive barn which serve as a shelter for cars, with two buildings on each end of it.

The current outdoor pool would be replaced with an indoor one in the main house.

Internal works at historic Farley Hill Court (Wokingham app 220351)

Here, the owners of Farley Hill Court in Farley Hill have applied to conduct internal works in one of the apartments in the building.

It used to be one big home, but now it is divided into apartments.

The work, at flat five, would involve demolishing a basement wall, and installing a new structural beam, tanking and a  ventilation system.

Farley Hill Court is Grade II listed and dates back to the 18th Century.
