A troop of local volunteers have come together to offer collection and transport of supplies to the people Ukraine.
Four truckloads of supplies will be heading off to Ukraine after mass collections at 'The Sanctuary Barn' in Binfield.
Ashleigh Toomey, a hairdresser at the salon started to organise a mass collection of food, toiletries and medical supplies to provide an over-flow after another location at Saffron Road became over-whelmed.
Business owner, Kate Cook allowed the use of one of her cabins as storage and an easy drop-off point.
Toomey said: “As well as offering an overflow we are also offering transport to get the goods from the UK down to Poland, so they can be transported into Ukraine.”
“The goods are being emptied into separate buses/lorries and transported through the Ukrainian border to wherever they need to be.
