IT'S that time of year again! Thousands of people around the world will be gathering to celebrate all things Irish in this year St Patricks festivities.

Many local pubs throughout Bracknell and Wokingham have organised everything from live music to free food and drink to mark the famous day.

We have gathered together five of the most coveted places-to-be for this years St. Patricks Day.

The Golden Farmer, Bracknell

The Golden Farmer is the Easthampstead community hub where everything is cause for celebration. Therefore It goes without saying that this year’s St Patrick’s Day festivities will be bigger than ever.

The venue is going all out with decorations and bunting throughout the pub, and customers being encouraged to dress in their most green attire.

There will be a variety of Irish food and drinks on offer, including Guinness and the traditional Colcannon dish specially for the day.

Lots of giveaways, fun and games will be on the menu to enjoy on the day at the Golden Farmer. One not to miss for all the family!

Peacock Farm pub, Bracknell

‘Everyone suddenly becomes a bit Irish on St Patrick's Day!’

The Peacock Farm pub will be holding their special Paddy’s Day pub quiz on March 17 with lots of prizes to be won.

So grab your friends and a cheeky Guinness or two and maybe you could walk away with one of the mystery prizes.

 

Market Inn, Bracknell

St. Patrick’s Day at the Market Inn in Bracknell is an event not to be missed this year.

Celebrations will be running from Thursday, March 17 -20 and will include traditional Irish drinks and some incredible live Irish music.

If you and your friends want to head down to celebrate at the Market Inn they have advised to reserve a table beforehand to make sure your not disappointed. They’re expecting it to be busy! Sláinte!

Starting at 8pm on St Paddy's day they are running an Irish quiz and if you want to exercise those vocal chords with a few Irish tunes, a karaoke competition has also been organised.

The baby Guiness drinks offer is out of this world at the Market Inn! For £8 you can get four delicious creamy baby guiness only on St Patricks Day.

 

The Station Tap, Wokingham

This local pub, on Station Road is offering the best St Patrick’s Day party in Wokingham this March!

After not being able to get fully going because of Covid and social distancing restrictions, they are getting ready to make up for lost time by pulling out all the stops.

With plenty of Guinness, Jameson and live music on offer you will be able to party up a storm.

If you join them between Thursday, March 17 and Sunday, March 20 you will be able to enter their spin to win competition. The winner will be gifted a Jameson cocktail kit.

 

The Ship Inn, Wokingham

If you wish to celebrate St. Patrick’s day a little later this year, the Ship Inn in Wokingham are offering live music on Saturday, March 19.

The band ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ will be performing to celebrate St Patrick’s day at The Ship.
