Music lovers throughout Bracknell Forest have been invited to the launch of a new Ukulele project in Bracknell Library.
This runs in partnership with the South East Ukulele project and Bracknell Forest Libraries who are keen to welcome newcomers to join the fun.
The event, which is on April 9 will allow people the opportunity to the listen to demonstrations and even have a go at singing and playing along.
As part of this collaboration, Bracknell libraries have set up a ‘ukes to loan’ scheme which will come with instructions, a help guide and a tuner for novice ukulele players.
The launch will give members of the community the chance to learn more about the project and will include a demonstration from professional musician Greg Hancock and a competition for a free ukulele give away!
Mothers with very young children will also have the opportunity to join a mums and babies ukulele class.
Sessions start on Thursday 21st April, 10-12:30pm at Bracknell Library.
