Wokingham Borough Council have teamed up with a community tree planting charity, Feeling Fruity to plant 82 trees at a new community orchard.
The event which took place on March 18 was supported by Friends of the Emmbrook and Windmill Primary School and was attended by Wokingham Borough Mayor, Cllr Keith Baker MBE and Cllr Gregor Murray.
The local orchard is located at Woosehill Meadows as part of The Tree Project which was launched last year.

The project has hit many milestones in its efforts to make the borough clean and green by planting 250,000 trees across the are over the next five years.
Wokingham Borough Mayor Cllr Keith Baker MBE said: “The Tree Project is a fantastic initiative to be part of and I am delighted to take part in this event at Woosehill Meadows. At the council, we are developing a strategy for the planting and maintenance of trees in Wokingham Borough and by the end of this month, over fifteen thousand trees will have been planted.”
