A PUB will be closed for four weeks as it undergoes a whopping £500,000 refurbishment.
The Shepherds House in Moss End, Warfield, will be closing on Tuesday, April 19, for four weeks.
Staff have been keeping the transformation a "secret for a few years" as they found at the start of lockdown.
Cam Waters, assistant manager, said: "Myself and the rest of the team have been keeping this a secret for a few years now as we found out at the start of the first lockdown. Unfortunately due to covid we had to postpone.
"We are all really excited and we are spending just over half a million on the refurb."
Pub goers can expect a brand new seating area with heaters, new tables and chairs.
More people can be seates outside too, which will be perfect for the summer.
As well as this, the bar area is being made bigger.
Cam added: "We are expanding our bar area and seating inside for the bar as this was an issue for our drinkers. We shall be having a complete makeover inside, new carpets, tables and chairs. We will also be creating a new menu."
If you are mentioning myself, my role is assistant manager and Tom is General manager.
