Fees for road closures are to be waived for this summer’s Jubilee celebrations, Bracknell Forest Council have announced.
Charges will not apply from Thursday June 2 to Sunday June 5 to make it easier for residents to host their own street parties and plan other festivities.
Leader of the Bracknell Forest Council, Councillor Paul Bettison, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for people to organise the kind of celebrations that we have all been missing for the past two years.”

“If you wish to host a street party, please get your road closure application in as quickly as possible. The deadline is the end of Friday 29 April,” said Cllr Bettison.
