The Lexicon is set to be transformed into a magical watery extravaganza for the Forest Spring event this Easter.
In collaboration with Bracknell Forest Council, the shopping complex will host a series of art installations, entertainers, education hubs and immersive experiences for all the family.
Along with an extra special top secret centre piece art installation, children and adults alike will experience the dynamic water colour studio, take a time out from the hustle and bustle in the river net retreat and hear the trickling of water falling from glaciers in the gigantic water bubbles.
Local artists, Emily Vanna, Ruth Ingamells and Babette Van Gerwen offer guidence in the water colour studio and see their works of art displayed for all to see across the walls of the space in Princess Square.
The River Net Retreat is also set within a unit in Princess Square and offers families of up to four people a chance to relax in an atmospheric and comfortable space.
The Forest Spring’s collaboration is a celebration of one of the world’s most precious elements and offers the community something a little bit different to the classic Easter celebrations.
Rob Morris, general manager at the Lexicon says: “After so many months of planning, it is great to see the many elements that make up this spectacular event become live.”
“We hope there is something for everyone to enjoy and look forward to seeing visitors’ reactions through the Easter holidays.”
A day of live entertainment will also take place on April 9 where local dance performers, solo vocalists, sing-a-long groups and an up-and coming boyband will be joining the fun.
Cllr Marc Brunel-Walker, executive member for economic development and regeneration at Bracknell Forest Council says: “Forest Springs will provide the perfect mix of exciting interactive activities and spaces for quiet reflection. I can’t wait to hear what aspect of the event visitors say is their favourite.”
The Bracknell Forest Springs experience really does have something for all the family and will create an extra special something to your trip to the Lexicon this Easter.
