A new 18-hole adventure golf course in Wokingham is all set for a summer opening, the owner has announced.
Wokingham Family Golf on Finchampstead Road recently received planning permission to re-design its existing 12-hole dinosaur themed mini-golf course, as well as adding an additional six holes.
The general manager and head professional, Chris Arding, said: “The development is starting now and we look for it to be complete by July 2022, ready for the summer holidays.”

The new course will still be dinosaur themed and contain an educational story, where players will be required to putt their way through the historic timeline.
Arding added: “[It will start] with the Triassic period then on to Jurassic then finishing in the Cretaceous period.
“There will be educational information boards as you enter each period with extra information boards about the dinosaurs.”

The course will also feature a waterfall - where players will be required to play a hole through it - a raft to pull to get across the waterfall, a smoking volcano, a hole putting through a crashed jeep and animatronic dinosaurs - with the largest reaching a height of nearly six metres.
“The course is a significant investment for us which will sit perfectly alongside the huge investment we have made over recent years into the driving range - featuring Toptracer (a digital shot tracker) - the footgolf course and the brand-new Legends Cafe & Sports Bar,” said Arding.
