Wimpy signs have been put up in the town centre announcing opening is moving a step forward for the new fast food chain.

It was first announced in June 2020 that the long-awaited restaurant would return to Bracknell in early 2021.

The store has however sat vacant since despite plans being given the go-ahead to turn the empty space into a new sit-down and takeaway eatery.

Picture’s posted on social media today have confirmed that Wimpy’s is at last ‘coming soon’ and looking for staff to join the team. They are currently advertising for full and part time servers and cooks and a full time restaurant manager along with other roles.

The community favourite will be returning to Bracknell after more than 30 years.

Comments on Facebook page We Love Bracknell show that residents are looking forward to the opening of the restaurant which will be located in Princess Square.
