A celebrated actor and impressionist will be taking to the stage at South Hill Park next week to highlight the work of Carry On star, Kenneth Williams.
The production of Cult Figure: Kenneth Williams tells the story of the Carry On star using annecdotes, writings and some original material.
Colin Elmer, who played the famous cult figure in the UK tours of Round the Horne and Hancock’s Half Hour reprises the role in this brand-new production.

Kenneth Williams was one of the most unique and beloved figures in British comedy history. From show stealing performances on the radio in Hancock’s Half Hour and Round the Horne and over twenty years of starring in the Carry On films.
The Birmingham Review said it was “funny, fast-paced and…beautifully performed.”
Cult Figure: Kenneth Williams is a one off production in The Wilde Theatre at South Hill Park on Thursday, May 12 at 7:45pm.
