Several ‘guided walks’ are taking place in the borough to mark Mental Awareness Week, Bracknell Forest Council has announced.
The council has teamed up with some of its health partners to form The Happiness Hub to host a variety of guided walks to show the benefits it can have on mental health.
The Happiness Hub is a collaboration of services offering mental health and wellbeing advice and support to those living in and around Bracknell Forest - over the age of 17.
The walks are being held from Monday May 9 to Friday May 13 in various places across the borough – the locations can be found here - with food and drink available.

Friday’s session will also include Thai Chi and a chance to meet local community services that might be of interest.
Cllr Dale Birch, Chair of the Bracknell Forest Health and Wellbeing Board and Executive Member for Health, said: “It has been proven that getting out for a walk can boost your mood and reduce stress levels.
“It’s a great chance to meet new people and representatives will also be on hand to offer support and advice.
“Everyone aged 17 and over is welcome to attend, we look forward to seeing you there.”
