Staff and pupils at a Wokingham primary school are celebrating this month after being rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED inspectors.
The Emmbrook School has bounced back following their previous inspection on June 20 2018. In this report, the inspector rated the performance as ‘Requires Inprovement.’
After being inspected again from March 14 to March 17, the school was praised for ‘effective teaching and meeting the pupils needs well.

The inspectors said that the pupils' behaviour is good in lessons and around the school and pupils are respectful towards adults and work cooperatively with peers.
Headteacher, Mr Usher said: “We are pleased and proud to have the hard work of staff and governors recognised by Ofsted.
“It is with the help of our community of parents, carers and children that we have been able to achieve this and we would like to thank all that have supported us including the School Improvement Team at Wokingham Borough Council.

“Our ‘Good’ grade from Ofsted is a fantastic milestone in our onwards school improvement journey from which we will continue to develop and improve for all the children of the Emmbrook Junior School community.”
