Plans to redevelop a site on Long Hill Road have been submitted to Bracknell Forest Council.

The proposal involves the demolition of the existing Longcroft residential dwelling, as well as knocking down the builder’s yard units and the removal of open storage of building materials – connected with the use of the site as a building contractor.

In their place, the submission outlines a plan to erect six new homes with associated car parking spaces and landscaping.

The development would provide two parking spaces for the proposed three-bedroom bungalow and three spaces allocated for each of the five four-bedroom dwellings, in line with the required standard.

Vehicular access to the proposed development would be provided by modification to the existing entrance onto Warfield Park.

The 0.796 hectares plot, located near the Royal Ascot boundary, is directly surrounded on three sides by substantial existing residential developments.

The 500 mobile home Warfield Park site is situated to the northwest and the new development of 13 houses on the ‘White Gates’ site is located to the southeast. Directly to the front of the area is an approved development of 87 mobile homes.

The detached two-storey homes would be positioned to the rear of the plot and similar in appearance to adjacent White Gates development.
