POLICE have been busy in Ascot after two vans were pulled over by officers on the same day.
One van was stopped after police spotted it loaded with multiple washing machines, pieces of wood and other heavy items.
The trailer of the van was so full that the back door was ajar.
Taking to Twitter on June 1, Thames Valley Police’s Roads unit tweeted: “Definitely not a textbook lesson on how to load a vehicle.

“This vehicle has been stopped in #Ascot and the driver has been reported for offences.
“The load has been unloaded onto another vehicle and the remaining load secured correctly.”
Another van was stopped on the same day after its driver was spotted not wearing a seatbelt.
Further checks identified that the tax for the vehicle had expired in 2020 and it had not MOT.
The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported for multiple offences.
