The post on the Blue Orchid Bakery Facebook page said: “Like many people who have taken time to reflect on what they want out of life, I have made the difficult decision to close the cafe in Peach Place to focus on my passion of Wedding and Celebration cakes.
“This hasn't been an easy decision and I will miss all our customers dearly.
“The last 3 and a half years have been truly amazing and full of ups and downs- with the best staff by my side. We've won awards, became top 10% on Trip Advisor, delivered all throughout lockdown, provided free school lunches when they were needed, delivered cupcakes every week to our NHS when COVID was at its worst, the list of truly great things this place has done can go on.
