On May 3 2022, the pub was inspected by the Food Standards Agency where it was given a score of one of five. It also shows that of all the areas inspected including food handling and cleanliness of facilities, they all require improvement.
A spokesperson from the pub said: “The pub was taken over four months ago so we have been trying to get it back on track.
“For the past two years it has had a one out of five food hygiene rating so technically our rating hasn’t gone down.”
