A WOKINGHAM family has walked away with £30,000 after winning ITV’s Family Fortunes.
The Young family, comprised of Darren, Roy, Simon, Lou and Morgan, appeared on the show on Saturday, July 2.
Showrunners ask 100 people to name an answer to a question and if the contestants match their answers when prompted with the same question, they score points based on the number of people who said that answer.

Hosted by Gino D’Acampo, one round of questions included naming another word for ‘big’, to which contestants responded correctly with ‘huge’ and ‘large.’
Other rounds included naming famous singers who started out in boybands and naming a popular sitcom.
The Young family stormed through the first round in a head-to-head with the Patrick family from Northern Ireland, scoring 466 points to their opponents' 192.
After making their way to the final, 17-year-old Morgan was first to take part in a 20-second quick-fire round in which the objective was to score 200 points from ten questions split between two family members.

However, participating family members were not made aware of their teammates’ answers.
Morgan scored 177 points, meaning teammate Darren needed just 23 points to secure the fortune.
Darren managed this with ease and secured the 200 points required.
Five of the duo’s ten answers were ‘top answers’, too, meaning the Young family secured the top prize of £30,000.
The Wokingham clan said they were going on a family trip to New York City with their winnings.
