More than 200 homes could be built in Bracknell very soon across four key development areas that are still awaiting a decision by the planning committee.
In the year so far, developers have already applied to build some big developments in Bracknell.
While work cannot begin on them until they are approved by the council’s planning committee, all four are yet to be decided on.
If all are given the go ahead, a total of 238 homes will be built in the near future and three new towers blocks will go up in the borough.

58 flats on the high street (22/00169/FUL)
An application is awaiting a decision which will see the demolition of existing buildings and the erection of a part ten-storey, part 12-storey building at 6-10 High Street, Bracknell.
If approved, the redevelopment would see 58 residential units along with associated parking and landscaping built at the 1,261sqm town centre site.
There are currently two buildings at the location, a two-storey property containing a bank and a single-storey post office with a raised ground floor and lower ground floor level.
The ground and first floor levels of the development are set to be reserved for commercial use. It is anticipated that the ground floor will be utilised for retail or café purposes, whilst the first floor is could include a communal workspace or gym.
32 flats on Bay Road (2/00276/FUL)
Proposals to redevelop Bay House on Bay Road to comprise 32 new flats, alongside car parking, cycle storage, and outdoor space, are currently awaiting a decision.
The application, which was validated in March, outlines a plan for 23 one-bedroom and nine two-bedroom homes in the six-storey block situated roughly one kilometer from the town centre.
The one-bedroom flats on the ground floor, accessed by a communal hallway, would consist of large double bedrooms to the side and a kitchen/living/dining space to the rear, as well as a private patio.
All other flats on the upper floors are proposed to have private balconies overlooking the communal gardens.
The premises are currently empty as all previous residents of the apartment block have permanently moved to other Silva Homes properties within the Bracknell area.
25 flats on Barn Close (22/00317/FUL)
Still awaiting a decision is the plan to build two three-storey buildings comprising of 25 residential units, as well as car and cycle parking, refuse and outdoor space, at Barn Close.
If approved, the development will see 15 one-bedroom and ten two-bedroom apartments at the site, situated roughly 0.7km from the town centre.
Each development would have access to either a rear garden or private balcony
The existing site consists of 24 two-bedroom flats built in the mid 1970’s, of which one is still occupied by a resident whilst the other 23 residents have been relocated to other premises in Bracknell.
A decision on the plan is set to be made later in the year.
123 Homes at Buckler's Park (22/00060/REM)
Approval of the conditions regarding details of scale, layout, appearance, access and landscaping for the Phase 3B development at Bucklers Park Land on Nine Mile Road is set to be decided this year.
The site, which is the location of the former TRL site, is set to have further homes built as part of the next stage of a major redevelopment of the area.
The overall development will provide housing and apartments of varying types and tenures that seek to deliver 123 residential dwellings in total. If approved, this is to be divided into 110 homes for the open market and 13 affordable homes.
