Thames Valley Police are investigating a suspected arson incident that occurred in Ascot yesterday (4/7).
At 6:57am on Monday, 4 June, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call with reports of a fire on Coombe Lane, Ascot.
As police searched the area of the heath fire, ruptured cans of accelerant were found nearby.

A spokesperson from RBFRS commented: “A Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Ascot Fire Station was sent to the scene.
“Upon arrival, the crew found a small fire in the open. Firefighters then extinguished the fire before handing the scene over to Thames Valley Police.
“The crew was on the scene for around 30 minutes."
