A FUNDRAISING event at a Bracknell pub was held to raise funds for a woman battling bowel cancer.
The Royal Oak pub, on London Road, hosted the fundraiser to help Tara Cunningham Harris in her fight with Stage 4 bowel cancer.
Diagnosed in October 2021, a month before her 40th birthday, Tara went through 10 rounds of chemotherapy.
After initially showing signs of improvement, the treatment stopped working meaning Tara had to seek alternative treatment options.
The special event was raising money for Thames Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Support and private treatment for Tara, which she can't get on the NHS.

The day was full of live music, a children's magician, hair braiding, temporary tattoos, a BBQ, face painting, cakes and a raffle.
A special auction was held which included a wendy house called Tara Towers, which Prospect Estate Agents, in Bracknell, donated.
And Tara event invited the Mayor of Bracknell Forest, Councillor Ankur Shiv Bhandari, to join in with the celebrations.
Tara said the support her and her family have received from Thames Hospice since being referred there has been "invaluable".
She said: "The time and effort they have put into us and every other family and the support they've given us I could never repay.
"It's so important and I hope the funds that we raise from this event will go to support other people in our position.
"So many people in the community have reached out to us and have donated things for the raffle which has been really nice and heart-warming to see."

Tara added families have been "really generous" and she hopes to raise lots of money to give back to the charities that have helped her.
Suzy Jennings, assistant manager at The Royal Oak pub, said: "The planning has been hectic but it's been really good, we love to give back to the local community and the support we have had from business has been immense.
"We are overwhelmed by the support and hopefully we'll raise money the money they need."
A GoFundMe page was also set up by Tara's sister Lucy, which has already raised more than £2,000.
