THE fiancée of a motorcyclist who died in a crash has put out a desperate plea to raise money to cover funeral costs.
April Garbutt set up a Just Giving page to raise funds for the funeral and a memorial item following the death of her 37-year-old fiancé, Matthew Teal.
The incident happened at around 11am on Sunday, July 10, when a Black Honda motorcycle and a silver Toyota Corolla collided on Ringmead, near to the junction with Jevington, where Mr Teal died at the scene.

April said on the fundraising page: “As you probably know my partner and my children’s dad had an accident and passed away after having a motorbike accident on the 10th July.
“I have absolutely nothing put aside and I’m so worried that I’m not going to be able to give Matt the send off he deserves and that his children will be happy with.”
April added Matt was an “amazing” dad and partner.

She said: “I couldn’t have asked for a better person in this world to share the last 15 years with.
“Matt had such an amazing energy about him, everybody loved him.
“Matt will lives on in our children and I hope I can make him proud raising our kids. Watch over us baby and keep us safe. We have our very own angel now.”
The funds raised from the Just Giving page will be put towards Matt’s funeral.
And any extra money will be added to a memorial fund for his children.
