A teenager has been stabbed in the face and has suffered a fractured jaw in a shocking attack.
A passerby phoned police after a fight broke out between a group of men in The Square, Bracknell.
A 17-year-old-boy was stabbed in the face and suffered a fractured jaw.
The attack happened at 7.15pm on Friday, July 15.
Police said the boy was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains. Although the injuries are serious, they are not believed to be life changing or life threatening.
Six people, all males aged between 17 and 21, have been arrested in connection with this incident. They are all in police custody at this time.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Alex Boyce, of Bracknell and Wokingham CID, said: “This was a violent incident and it is very fortunate that no one was more seriously hurt.
“I’d like to reassure people that this was a completely isolated incident and there is no threat to the wider public.
“We have already some footage of this offence but we are very keen to obtain more in order to help our investigation.
“If you have any CCTV, dash-cam, doorbell or mobile phone footage which could relate to this incident, I would urge you to get in touch with us.
“We are particularly interested in footage from between 7pm and 7.30pm yesterday in the Woodmere and Harmanswater Road area.
“Anyone with any information which they think could help us should call us on 101, quoting reference number 43220313507.”
