A popular Bracknell pub has re-opened last week following a drastic £300K refurbishment.
The Golden Farmer, located in Easthampstead played host to over 400 guests on Thursday, July 14 on their opening after being closed for six weeks.
Known as a fantastic community hub, it has now become one of the area’s first ‘Hive Pubs’, a new franchising line by pub owner, Greene King.
Manager, Ivo Barreiros said: “We are all so happy withy how the pub and the refurbishment turned out. It’s the same shell but we have given everything a breath of fresh air and transformed the whole venue.

“A lot of money has been invested into it to completely transform it into a place that welcomes everyone. From kids, to seniors we hope to offer entertainment for everyone.”
“There is a new bar, colour scheme and now half of the beer garden is covered to offer more privacy and seclusion.”
The new venue will be offering a wide range of Greene King speciality alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails and teas and coffees.
The menu has also been changed to cater for certain dietary requirements and also includes kids cuisine.
