THOUSANDS of families rocked out to tribute songs by Adele, Take That and Foo Fighters in Wokingham over the weekend.
Dinton Pastures hosted Marvellous Festival, which saw huge crowds sing and dance over the Saturday and Sunday (July 24-25).
This year’s event featured 14 tribute acts including Adele, Take That, Katy Perry, Santana and more, together with headline performances from The Chicago Blues Brothers on the Saturday and How Sweet It Is, a show of classic Motown songs, on Sunday evening.
There was also be a great selection of food and drink on offer with a fully licensed bar.
Cllr Ian Shenton, executive member for environment, sport and leisure, said before the event: “The event, like in previous years, will bring much excitement and enjoyment to our residents. It is a must in everyone’s calendar this summer.”
