A new Thai restaurant is rumoured to be opening its doors in one of the Lexicon’s empty units.
A notice outside the unit beside TGI Friday’s on Eagle Lane shows an application for a licence within the premises for the Giggling Squid restaurant.
The company that has applied for the application and is therefore responsible for the opening of this Bracknell franchise is Chokdee Ltd.

As a town centre restaurant, people have expressed their excitement over the extended opening times that the restaurant have outlined in their application.
The Licencing Act 2003 Application for a premises licence says: “The application provides for thye supply of alcohol from 11:00 to 00:00 Monday to Saturday and 11:00 to 23:30 on Sundays. Late night refreshments from 23:00 to 00:00 Monday to Saturday and to 23:30 on Sunday.
This will mean that the well-known restaurant will have opening times of 11am to 12am from Monday to Saturday and 11am to 11:30pm on Sundays.
This would be the third restaurant of it’s kind located in Berkshire. The other two venues are located in Wokingham and Windsor.
