Families and friends came together at The Lexicon this week to enjoy fun and games at this years Bracknell Forest Festival launch day.
The event that occured on August 24 marked the beginning of a 10-day celebration commemorating the shopping complex’s fifth birthday.
The purpose of the event however went deeper than just a family fun day. It was about communicating the well-being benefits of being outdoors and protecting the boroughs forest and green spaces for future generations.

Kids could be seen enjoying the day on the new interactive giant which debuted on Wednesday at The Lexicon.
Will Wildwood stood tall at five metres high boosting an integral slide , with a message for visitors to get active outdoors.
In addition, a host of entertainers were wandering the site including a Night Forest theatre show, using holographic technology to make the forest creatures come to life.
