Loch Fyne submitting plans to convert the premises into a pub is one of many applications put forward across the boroughs this week.
In Bracknell there have been plans submitted proposing the building of two new homes in Sandhurst, as well as contructing a new three-storey accommodation block at a military academy.
In Wokingham there has been an application by a hospital seeking consent to install 34 new signs in the car park, as well as proposals to convert the former Loch Fyne restaurant into a pub.

Proposed erection of a new three-storey accommodation at Sandhurst Military Academy (22/00726/FUL)
An application has been submitted on behalf of the Secretary of State for Defence to improve the living quarters at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS)
The plan proposes to demolish the existing Building 42, a three-storey single living accommodation block of 60 bedspaces, which is said to be in “poor condition” and replace it with a new three-storey 63-bed premises.
It would be split into 19 spaces on the ground floor, 22 on the first floor and a further 22 on the second floor.
A second three-storey building to accommodate 47 senior non-commissioned officers’ bedspaces would also be built at the RMAS – which is located in the southwest corner of a much larger area of land utilised by the Ministry of Defence – on the site of the existing car park.
Two garage blocks would also be demolished, and the area resurfaced to provide a car park for up to 22 vehicles.
Proposal for the erection of two new homes in Sandhurst (22/00542/OUT)
An application has been submitted outlining plans to build two new homes on Hancombe Road in Sandhurst.
The proposal details the construction of the properties on land to the rear of a dwelling called The Russets, which is currently used as a residential garden.
The applicant submitted designs showing plans for both properties to be two-storey, three-bedroom houses with attached garages.
The outline application has received four objections from neighbours of nearby Sandy Lane who feel that the plan would cause “significant overdevelopment” in the area and more residents will “put a strain” on local amenities such as schools and doctors.
Application for the installation of multiple non-illuminated car park signs at a hospital (222370)
An application has been submitted by Wokingham Community Hospital on Barkham Road for the proposed installation of 34 non-illuminated car park signs.
The proposed installation is to prepare for the new ANPR car parking management system at the entrance and exit points of the site, the removal of existing car parking signage and the installation of a pay station to the rear of the hospital grounds.
The proposal is for eight types of signs to be mounted at 24 locations – walls, posts and existing lamp posts within the site. All post-mounted signage is to be 2.5 metres from ground level and all wall-mounted signage is to be 2 metres high from ground level.
The signs include 20 post mounted T&C signs, three wall mounted T&C signs, two post mounted Blue Badge Holder signs, one wall mounted Blue Badge sign, one post mounted entrance sign, one post mounted exit sign, one wall mounted EV charge point sign, three wall mounted staff T&C signs, one wall mounted NOP sign and two post mounted Tariff and T&C signs.
Plan proposed to change Loch Fyne restaurant into a pub (222509)
A plan proposing the refurbishment of the recently closed Loch Fyne restaurant and converting it into a pub.
The new premises would be a food-led Green King pub, with the application detailing changes to the design, including improved bar and dining areas, a refitted kitchen, new bin stores and a refurbishment of the existing toilet facilities.
Externally, the plan proposes installing bi-folding doors and a new glazed pergola to provide covered dining. To the side area terrace, a timber pergola with corrugated steel roof is suggested to offer further covered dining.
The front section of the car park would be re-planned to relocate disabled spaces closer to the entrance. Other car park alterations listed include the installation of dedicated bike parking to the side and four electric vehicles chargers to the rear.
