A fallen tree has blocked a busy road in Ascot, narrowly missing a white car.
A giant branch from an old oak tree collapsed onto London Road, following periods of high winds during last night’s storms.
The road has been blocked since around 09:30 this morning, a team later arrived at the scene to begin clearing the obstacle.
Traffic is now being directed down one side of the road, which is located near the intersection between Queen’s Hill and Wellswood Road.
A resident has said it looks like a “delayed reaction” to the strong winds and may take “quite a while” to clear.
