A service to celebrate the life of Her Majesty The Queen will take place in the borough next weekend, the council has announced.
St Michael and St Mary Magdalene Church in Easthampstead will host the event on Sunday September 18 at 6pm.
Guests of the Mayor of the Borough of Bracknell Forest will join the service, which is to be conducted by the Mayor’s chaplain, Reverend Carol Dunk.
The memorial service will be open to invited guests only, residents should refer to their own local place of worship for details of additional memorial services.

There is also a book of condolence being made available every day from 9am until 4:30pm in Princess Square. The book will remain open during the national period of mourning, until Tuesday, September 20, and will then be kept in the borough’s archives for future generations.

The State Funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey on Monday, September 19 at 11am.
Prior to the State Funeral, The Queen will Lie-in-State in Westminster Hall for four days, to allow the public to pay their respects.
