1. Millennium Way, Bracknell: Forensics brought in after man's death
A man has sadly passed away after police were called to an incident in Millennium Way yesterday morning.
Thames Valley Police rushed to the scene at 2:30am on Thursday, September 22 when they were alerted about a ‘fear of welfare’ incident.
Residents first noticed police situated at the entrance to The Lexicon car park on Millennium Way at 6:30am where a forensic police tent and police cars could be seen.

Figures reveal which school in Bracknell Forest excluded pupils most often last year.
The Children's Society has called for stronger government guidance on the issue, after data revealed the "huge differences" in the rate of exclusions in schools across England.
Department for Education figures show there were a total of 533 permanent or temporary exclusions across the 37 state schools in Bracknell Forest in the 2020-21 academic year.

3. Shell Petrol Station, Binfield: Staff threatened in robbery
PETROL station staff have been threatened with a gun during a robbery at a service station on Binfield Road.
Thames Valley Police said at around 5:20am on Tuesday, September 20, the offender entered the Shell Service Station demanding money from the member of staff at the till.
The member of staff initially refused, which resulted in the offender threatening them by saying he 'had a gun', after which the staff member handed over a quantity of cash.

4. James Frost jailed for Boots ram raid plus his accomplice
A serial offender has been jailed for three and a half years alongside his accomplice after pleading guilty at Reading Crown Court this month.
On January 14 2022 while on bail, James Frost, 32, ransacked a property in Beehive Lane before driving a stolen Land Rover into the storefront of Boots in Market Place.
This comes seven months after the two Bracknell men were charged for a spate of burglaries throughout Wokingham.

A new luxury food shop has been opened in Ascot celebrating speciality food, wine, and fine dining.
Melanie Greaves, Owner and Director of T&G Meats launched HEDONE Ascot to bring together some of Britain’s finest independent brands in one location.
Opening its doors three weeks ago, local response to the speciality business has been phenomenal, with neighbouring businesses and residents offering their continued support.
