A 16-year-old teenager was assaulted outside a Sandhurst pub sustaining injuries to his face and hand.

Thames Valley Police received reports of an incident on Swan Lane, Sandhurst at around 5:20pm on Tuesday, October 4.

A member of the public witnessed a man, in his thirties, punch the teenage boy and walk away towards Hampshire Lakes.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “The offender is described as white, aged in his thirties, around 5ft 5ins tall, with a balding head and wearing a dark green, camouflage colour fleece and fishing trousers.

“He was with another man who is described as white, aged in his thirties/forties, around 6ft tall, and carrying two carrier bags.

An employee from The White Swan pub said: “I understand that a police officer came into the pub on that Tuesday however I cannot comment further.”

According to another member of the public that contacted the Chronicle, the teenager had his tooth knocked out and was repeatedly kicked while on the ground.

Thames Valley Police added: “Officers are investigating and urge anyone with information about the incident to call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43220445637.

“Alternatively, provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
