A three-vehicle crash has caused huge traffic delays in the Ascot area this evening.

Fire crews from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue were called to the scene of the road traffic collision on London Road alongside Surrey Fire and Rescue.

A spokesperson from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue said: “At 4:18pm on Wednesday, 19 October, we received reports of a road traffic collision on London Road in Ascot.

"Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service Crews from Wokingham and Slough fire stations were sent to the scene alongside crews from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.

"Upon arrival, crews found a collision involving three vehicles. Firefighters remain at the scene of the incident."

AA Live Traffic said: “Reports of queueing traffic due to crash, a van and a car involved on A329 London Road Westbound between A30 London Road and Blacknest Gate Road.

South Central Ambulence Service has been contacted for a further comment on the incident.
