Bracknell’s landscape will soon boast a collection of giant sculptures as preparation work to install the new public art pieces at Jennett’s Hill starts today.
The artists commissioned to create the pieces were chosen following a public consultation carried out in spring of this year.
Two works by artist Kerry Lemon, which consist of complementing sculptures to celebrate the skylark, will be displayed at Peacock meadow.

A further two pieces will be displayed by artist Tim Ward. The first is a line of Fulmar birds in a sequence of flight poses to be installed at Fulmar Square.
The second being a giant dandelion seed head with a dragonfly to be located at Jennett’s Hill open space. Mr Ward says it represents the “hopes and wishes” symbolised by the tradition of “making a wish while blowing the seeds away.”
The artists designed the collection of objects and animals to represent the sites ‘natural beauty’. Which are expected to be installed by Spring, 2023.
