Hundreds of residents young and old set off this weekend on the annual Santa Dash at Dinton Pastures Country Park.
In its sixth year, the 3K run is becoming a festive tradition hosted by Barnes Fitness to get everyone into the festive spirit.
This year’s dash comprised of a 3K route where individuals, families and groups either ran, walked or cycled around the Wokingham country park.
£2 of every entry fee was donated to the chosen charity, First Days Children’s Charity, which will have a direct impact on local children by providing them with a warm bed to sleep in this winter.
The run was enjoyed by many who turned up in their Santa costumes tackling the run in freezing temperatures.
Every £100 that was raised in the Santa Dash will buy a complete bed for a child, including the frame, mattress, duvet & two pillows and linens.
