A Ukrainian refugee is appealing for help to find a dog-friendly home after falling in love with the borough over the last six months.
Anfisa Vlasova moved to Berkshire as part of the Homes for Ukraine scheme at the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
But now she is now looking for a new home for herself and her adorable four Yorkshire Terriers puppies.
Bracknell Forest Council is supporting Anfisa and has prised the generosity of Bracknell Forest residents.
Cllr Paul Bettison, Leader of Bracknell Forest Council, said: “Since the scheme began, we have been amazed at the generosity of Bracknell Forest residents in welcoming our newest guests into their home. And a lot of these have been extremely successful, with the vast majority extending beyond their initial six-month commitment.
“Of course, where this is not possible, we will do everything we can to find a solution. So, that’s why I am again calling on the generosity of the borough.
“So, if you have the space, even for a short period of time, to host Anfisa and her adorable Yorkshire terriers, then we’d love to hear from you. We know it is an unusual request, but please do get in touch if you think you can help.”
