Two Wokingham businesses suffered substantial damage after ram-raiders targeted a Berkshire bowling alley and local shop this weekend (13/2).
Police were called to the scene of two separate attacks in the early hours of Sunday morning at a local shop on Bean Oak Road and the popular Super Bowl bowling alley.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for members of the public who may have further information to come forward.
The first attack occurred around 3:30am at the local shop on Bean Oak Road, Wokingham. Several residents alerted police when they heard the ram-raid burglary in progress.
The ram-raiders fled the shop when police arrived to survey the damage.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “Officers are investigating and ask for anyone with information to call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230065482.
“Alternatively, provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
The second report came around 6am on Sunday, February 12 when police were contacted about a ram-raid burglary at Wokingham Superbowl on Wellington Road, Wokingham.
Officers attended the scene and are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
