A new burger takeaway has opened in Ascot.
Following a soft launch, the burger takeaway ‘Fry Guy’ is now taking orders from the general public.
Menu items include beef, chicken and plant burgers, fried chicken, wings and the chef’s special ‘Dynabites’ which are marinated to wings, strips and king prawns.
Fry Guy is currently takeaway only, but the aim is to expand to cater for seated guests in future.
It has been opened by the same people who own the Peppermills Indian Takeaway, who decided to diversify their offer into two separate entities.
Nabil Ali, the owner of Fry Guy, said: “We are very excited to bring this new venture to Ascot.
“There is a huge gap in the market and there is a huge demand for this type of food.
“Our aim is to bring the best and tastiest burgers to town.
“The decision to diversify comes from the demand from the customers themselves.
“We’ve already been running a business for 15+ years in Ascot and have used our initiative to bring this cuisine to all of our customers so we can meet everyone’s needs.”
Peppermills Indian Takeaway and Fry Guy are located at the end of Royal Hunt House shopping precinct in Fernbank Road, North Ascot.
Fry Guy is open from 5pm to 10pm for a week or so but this will change to 3pm to 10pm in a couple of weeks.
They have not applied for a licence as they are not selling food past 11pm and are not serving alcohol.
