GRITTERS will be out once again tonight as temperatures continue to plummet.
As we head into the next week, forecasters are predicting temperatures will tumble and in some areas across the UK bringing with it snow.
In Berks, forecasts show the week starting off with a bit of light rain from around midday on Monday, March 5, and fairly mild cold temperatures at around 3C.
Rain looks like it will remain for the rest of the day and continue into Tuesday. However, predictions also expect temperatures to plummet come Tuesday to a very cold -4C and sleet making an appearance in the early hours.
There will be a brief reprieve moving through the day taking temperatures back to around 4C. Before minus temperatures are back at -2C early Wednesday and sleet predicted toretun come Thursday morning.
Rain looks to be fairly set in stone for the remainder of the week, however brighter days and temperatures up to 11C by the weekend.
