Police officers are investigating a robbery at a Bracknell convenience store after three armed men stormed the shop with crowbars and poles.
The incident occurred at 10:40pm on Saturday, March 18 when the offenders gained access to the Tesco Express on Horndean Road.
Following the robbery, the Forest Park Tesco was closed on Sunday, March 19 where residents saw a large police presence in the area.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “At around 10.40pm on Saturday three offenders have entered a shop on Horndean Road.
“The men were armed with what were believed to be poles and crowbars. They accessed the shop and took an amount of cash from the till.
“No one was injured. We are carrying out an investigation and anyone with information should call 101 quoting reference 43230121625.”
A Tesco spokesperson said: “We’re assisting the police with their enquiries following an incident at our Forest Park Express store on Saturday night.
“We’re pleased to confirm the store is open today and serving customers as usual and apologise for any inconvenience caused by the closure yesterday, which was to allow the police to complete their investigations.”
