As well as these resurfacing projects, the council’s highways department has obtained £377,600 from the government to fix potholes.
During the meeting, councillor Chris Turrell (Conservative, Harmans Water) executive member for transport, said: “The recent cold weather has had a significant effect on our road surfaces as is the way with such weather.
“There will be a catch up on the number of potholes that have appeared as a result.
“The additional funding from the government for this is very welcome.”
There have been 14 reports of potholes in Bracknell on the website FixMyStreet since the start of 2023.
Of those, four were reported in Ringmead, the most of any in Bracknell this year.
