*This is an April Fools*
Swinley Forest will be the location of a new live action Lego film, starring national treasures Julie Walters and Colin Firth.
The live action, Lego Live Adventure, will also star Will Ferrell and Morgan Freeman who voiced the 2014 Lego animation 'The Lego Movie'.
Filming will begin this summer and areas of the forest will have restricted access to accommodate the cast and crew.
The film's music will be composed by American singer and composer, Mark Mothersbaugh, who previously worked on the 2014 animation.
UK pop band McFly will be performing the film's theme tune.
The director, Mr Bill Dingblock, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Legoland Windsor to bring a live action Lego movie to your screens. Working with Mark [Mothersbaugh] is a dream come true after the success of the original animated The Lego Movie, we can only hope that the live action will be just as popular.
"We carefully chose Swinley Forest as a main location for filming due to its natural beauty in the Berkshire countryside. The official release date and trailer for Lego Live Adventure will be announced later this year."
A number of trees will be cut down before filming begins, but Lego tree replacements will be provided by Legoland Windsor.
More information to follow regarding forest closure.
