A new Asian food brand has set up shop within a Tesco Superstore.
KellyDeli, owners of Sushi Daily, has launched a new multi-concept food offer, ‘Kelly’s Market’, in partnership with Tesco.
Its aim is to bring joy and flavours from all over the world to consumers in the UK.
The offering of food includes CKN + BAO, Dos Mexicanas, BamTuk, My Little Dim Sum and Little Moons ice cream mochi.
Kelly Deli hopes to elevate grab-and-go food with 'high quality' hot and cold dishes.
Over 60 menu options are available, with food from Korean to Mexican to Asian street food - including vegan dishes.
From dim sum starting at £2.95 to loaded nachos (£5.95), chicken and waffles (£7.26) and hirata bao buns (£4.55), all food is prepared on-site by 'expertly trained chefs' each day.
Managing director of KellyDeli UK, Ian Roberts, says: “We’re proud to partner with the UK’s biggest retailer, Tesco, to launch Kelly’s Market, pushing the boundaries of hot serve food in-store and bringing a choice of world cuisine to consumers through multiple channels”.
Kelly’s Market opened in Wokingham Tesco on Wednesday, March 29, and a further nine pilot stores will follow suit in 2023.
Consumers will be able to purchase hot or cold food-to-go in-store as well as via Click & Collect and delivery aggregators.
