One of TV’s best-known wildlife presenter, naturalists and adventurers was spotted at a popular Bracknell café alongside his family this week.
Steve Backshall visited Moss End Garden Centre on Monday, April 17 where he was seen smiling for the camera alongside a member of the team at the Robyn’s Nest Café.
According to staff, the wildlife lover best known for his BBC TV’s Deadly 60 show chowed down on their fish finger sandwiches and the cafes ‘dangerously good cakes’ alongside his wife and kids.
The Robyn’s Nest Café posted a picture on their social media of employee Anna posing with Steve as he was welcomed into the Moss End Garden Centre.
Their post said: It’s not every day explorer @backshall.steve discovers Robyn’s Nest and it’s dangerously good cakes. Thanks for being a good sport and taking a photo with Anna.”
The café is popular with local resident looking for a community space that offers delicious and affordable food, snacks and hot and cold drinks.
On Monday, Steve announced that wife, Helen Glover, won the GB rowing senior trials alongside world champ Rebecca Shorten at The Redgrave Pinsent Rowing Lake in Caversham.
