A TRIAL has collapsed after man who assaulted a woman in Bracknell pleaded guilty instead.
Harry Christopher was due to stand trial at Reading Crown Court today (May 4) but instead was re-arraigned for one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Bracknell on October 9, 2022.
The 27-year-old pleaded guilty this morning and the case was adjourned so a pre-sentence report can be prepared.

Judge Amjad Nawaz told Christopher he could remain on conditional bail but warned Christopher that the case is ‘serious enough’ to cross the custody threshold.
Christopher, of Adelaide Street, Plymouth, will be sentenced on June 9.
