As the Lexicon returns to pre-Covid levels more and more shops and restaurants have been scheduled to open over the past few months and coming months.
From kebab shops to massive burger chains there certainly isn’t a shortage of choice when deciding where to eat in the town centre.
Following the opening of Five Guys, we have looked at what else is set to open in Bracknell in the coming months and years.
Giggling Squid
It was announced last year that the popular thai restaurant will be joining the ranks within the Lexicon over the Summer.
The restaurant, which already has a location in Wokingham, will include dishes such as their famous salt and chilli squid to the crowd-pleasing Sticky Chicken.
The restaurant said: “The excitement is building as we fit out our new Thai restaurant in Eagle Lane, Bracknell – installing banquettes, hanging our stunning wallpaper, adding floral details.
“The team are also getting ready and can’t wait to throw open the doors and welcome our new guests.”
Wimpy
The renowned Wimpy restaurant has had people anticipating its arrival for at least 3 years. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and supply issues, developments have been stalled and delayed over the last few years.
The News are hoping to hear some news soon about the return of the famous fast-food restaurant. Those who remember the Bracknell Wimpy as it was before have said that they have memories of visiting it after school or working in it during their teens.
The American chain is famous for their Wimpy burgers and shakes.
Tortilla
Tortilla, the largest fast-casual Mexican restaurant group in the UK specialising in the sale of freshly made Californian-inspired Mexican cuisine.
It is due to open its doors on the High Street, next to Brown Bag, in Spring 2023.
German Donar Kebab
The popular fast-food chain is set to open this month (May 2023) offering 'game-changing' kebabs.
Due to be located on 40 High Street, it claims to be revolutionalising the kebab in the UK with fresh and high quality ingredients
Restaurants that have opened in the last year
